Studio Smith Torquay is where Marion Smith creates unique, Australian contemporary jewellery.
She is a silversmith who predominantly creates in sterling silver, enamel or mixed metals. Marion also paints landscapes in oils and acrylics.
Artichoke Design
Melbourne designer Michele Hume’s Artichoke label showcases her individually conceived and handcrafted leather goods. Beginning with a range of purses and handbags, Artichoke Design has evolved to include key fobs, brooches and earrings. Inspiration for her work is always self-renewing because of the textures, colours and variations in the collection of surplus leather amassed over the years, from sources including the auto, footwear, furniture and clothing industries. Michele is incorporating new elements into her range such as mark making onto the leather inspired by patterns in nature and architecture.
Karen Harvey Jewellery
Having a background in horticulture and landscape design, my love of nature often influences my work. Working with sterling silver and other precious metals, I use traditional silversmithing techniques along with other modern processes to shape and form works of wearable art. I love working with clients to create one-off bespoke pieces. My work is also available in small boutiques and galleries and online.
